**Bath and Brush Out – Some breeds don't require any clipping, but enjoy a day a the spa, too! Sometimes, also, our companions are just in need of a nice bath and thorough brush out. This package consists of nail trimming, ear -cleaning, a pre-bath brush out, a deep cleaning & conditioning bath, blow drying, and a post-bath brushing to remove any remaining dead shedding coat, followed by our finishing touches! External anal glad expression if needed is also included for dogs under 30 lbs. If your pooch is over 30 lbs, please request this service as a part of this package and we will be glad to do this for you. An additional $5.00 charge will apply. **Mini Groom – This package consists of trimming and neatening the face, shaving of the foot pads, sanitary trimming, clipping the toenails, plucking and cleaning the ears, a thorough brush and comb out, a deep cleaning & conditioning bath, towel and fluff drying, brush out and comb out, and finishing touches which include one or more of the following: bows, bandanas, cologne or other options depending on the season! External anal glad expression if needed is also included for dogs under 30 lbs. If your pooch is over 30 lbs, please request this service as a part of this package and we will be glad to do this for you. An additional $5.00 charge will again apply. Prices for the Mini Groom vary(ranging from $25.50 - $60.00) according to the size of your pet, the length of the coat, and other individual characteristics of your pet.
**Full Groom - This package includes trimming around the foot pads, clipping the toenails, plucking and cleaning the ears, a thorough brush and comb out, the hair cut of your choice (complete shave down, scissor trimming, or patterns/specialty cuts), a cleansing and conditioning bath, towel and fluff drying, brush/ comb out, final styling, and finishing touches which include one or more of the following: bows, bandanas, cologne or other options depending on the season! External anal glad expression if needed is also included for dogs under 30 lbs. If your pooch is over 30 lbs, please request this service as a part of this package and we will be glad to do this for you. An additional $5.00 charge will apply. Prices for the Full Groom vary(ranging from $30.00 - $100.00+) according to the size of your pet, the length/condition of the coat, type of cut and style requested, and other individual characteristics of your pet.
A La Carte, Touch-ups, and Additional Services & Fees
Nail & Ear Care – Dogs need their nails clipped on a regular basis, usually every 3-4 weeks. Nails that are not clipped on a regular basis can result in health problems, such as painful ingrown nails, difficulties in placing full body weight on their feet which can result in sore feet, legs, and hips, and in some extreme cases, the nails can curl over and begin to grow into the pads, requiring treatment by the veterinarian. The ears of a dog are very sensitive and susceptible to infection, wax buildup and parasite infestation. When left unattended, problems such as constant itching, scratching, odor, and infection can result. The Doggie Detailer will trim your dogs nails and gently pluck his/her ears (if needed) and clean them with the proper solution in minutes while you wait!

Anal gland expression – Just inside the anal opening, dogs have anal glands which have two sacs on either side of the anal opening. These sacs contain a fluid that acts as a lubricant that promotes smooth, easy bowel movement. The fluid is normally discharged just before your dog eliminates but sometimes, the glands become clogged and are unable to do so. Clogged glands can cause discomfort and sometimes even constipation. Some dogs never have anal gland problems, but for others, clogged anal glands can be a chronic problem. The Doggie Detailer can express your dog’s clogged fluid by gently squeezing the anus on both sides. This, however, must be done by an experienced person because if it is done incorrectly, the fluid can be pushed backwards which will worsen the problem.

* Dematting/Brushing (up to 15 minutes) - $10 - $40.00 per hour
* Touch up - maintenance services between regular grooming appointments. Services based on customer request, which may include ear cleaning, internal anal gland expressions, pedicures, etc. Prices will depend on requested services but will generally range from $25.00 - $35.00.
* Toothbrushing/Breath Freshening - $5.00 with any package. First toothbrushing is free with purchase of a toothbrush ($5.00). If you bring your own toothbrush to each appointment, we will replace it for free when needed!
* Late pick up times (After Business Hours) - $20.00
Flea Control at the Spa - At the Doggie Detailer, we are aware of how dangerous insecticides are. We all know society is becoming more conscious of the products we use in and around our families everyday. The choices we make for our pets need to be given the same consideration. The Doggie Detailer has chosen products that will safely eliminate fleas and ticks without exposing your beloved canine companion to any potentially toxic chemicals. The shampoo line we have chosen is derived using extracts from the Jojave Yucca plant. Yucca extracts are very powerful water softeners that instantly penetrate the exoskeletal membranes of parasites. Yucca is a natural, safe, quick, and effective method in the elimination of fleas and ticks. If you are dealing with an infestation problem, removing the fleas from your dog will, however, only be a first step. We can offer suggestions to safely rid your home of fleas (Extreme home infestations may unfortunately need to resort to chemical treatment for fast elimination). Please inform us when scheduling your appointment if you are (or believe you might be) dealing with a flea problem so we can schedule your appointment in a manner that will allow us to bathe your dog immediately upon arrival, reducing any risk of transmitting fleas to our facility or any other visiting guests.
Medicated Bath - Medicated baths can treat cuts, abrasions, dry eczema, moist eczema (hot spots), seborrhea, summer eczema (allergies), puppy dermatitis, flea allergy dermatitis, contact, dermatatis, and repairs skin and coat. Calming conditioning can reduce redness, moisturize, and relieve itchiness. If you beileve a medicated shampoo will help your pet, an evaluation by your veterinarian is recommended to ensure a prescription of the correct shampoo to best treat your pet's condition. We will be glad to utilize the prescribed shampoo and ensure proper treatment with no additional charge.
